Albert J. R. Heck

Currently I am a post-doctoral researcher working with Dr. David W. Chandler at Sandia National Laboratories and with Prof. Dr. R. N. Zare at Stanford University. My current research projects involve the study of the dynamics of chemical reactions using ion imaging technique. A list of projects I have been involved in lately with a small description of them will be available soon.

If you want to see for whom I am working check this out

I was born , in 1964, and raised in the Netherlands in a town called Goes. If you do not know how beautiful Holland looks like just look.

I did my undergraduate work in chemistry at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam and at the Universiteit van Amsterdam. I did my graduate research at the Institute of Mass Spectrometry, Universiteit van Amsterdam with Prof. N N. M. Nibbering. Research projects included the characterization of hypervalently coordinated ions tandem- and Fourier-transform Ion Cyclotron Mass Spectrometry. Ireceived my Ph.D in February 1993. Following graduation I spent a few months as a researcher at the Hahn-Meitner-Institut in Berlin, Germany where I worked on photoionization of transition metal carbonyls using the BESSY synchrotron source. Since August 1993 I have been affiliated with Stanford University and Sandia National Laboratories. Do you really want to see my list of publications? For serious job offers you can even look at my resume.

I like to spend as much time as possible outdoors and enjoy biking and hiking very much.
